Recruiting
Recruitment lets your recruiters see an applicant's history, skills, kills and alts, with the applicant's consent and only for as long as you need it. Recruiters are the CEO, Directors and Personnel Managers of a corporation on VoidForge.
Share your recruitment link
- Open your corporation's Recruitment tab.
- In Recruitment link, tick what you ask applicants to share: skills, kills and losses, wallet totals, assets, and alts by name.
- Select Copy link and post it wherever you recruit.
Applying doesn't need an invite. Select Close applications to stop new ones, or New link to replace the link; the old one stops working.
Review applicants
Applicants lists each one with skill points, which of your hulls they can fly, corporations in the last two years, kills and losses, and alts. Open one to see everything they shared and Worth asking about: prompts such as many corporations in two years, a new character, or kills on your corporation. They're prompts, not verdicts.
- Recruiters' notes are only seen by recruiters. Notes from someone's earlier applications show again if they reapply.
- Select Accept, then send the invite in the game, or Decline. The applicant is told either way.
An applicant's sharing ends after 14 days, when you decline, when they withdraw, or when an accepted applicant joins in the game. You're reminded 2 days before it ends. Their corporation history stays visible, as it's public in EVE. Applicants can see which recruiters opened their application.
How applying works
The applicant opens your link, signs in with EVE, chooses what to share from what you ask, and sends the application. Someone not on VoidForge gets an account just for applying, with no invite or two-factor sign-in needed. From it they can see their applications, who looked, and withdraw. To use VoidForge for their own characters later, they enter an invite code and set up two-factor sign-in; see Create your account.
Your public recruitment page
At the bottom of Recruitment, Public page gives your corporation its own page, at an address ending in /c/ and your ticker, with an Apply button while applications are open.
- Fill in a tagline, home, time zones, in-game channel, recruiters, about us, and up to six requirements.
- Choose whether to show income by activity (as percentages only) and when members are online (by hour, never per member).
- Select Save, then Turn on.
The page also shows public EVE facts: members and their change over 30 days, when the corporation was founded, its CEO, alliance, tax and active wars. Search engines can find it.
