Overview

Updated

The Overview shows the characters you're viewing in one place: how much ISK they hold, what they earned, what changed, and what needs your attention. Corporation wallets are included where one of your characters can see them.

The figures at the top of the Overview.

The figures at the top

FigureWhat it is
Total ISKYour personal wallets plus the corporation wallets you can see. Assets and orders aren't included.
PersonalThe ISK in your characters' own wallets.
Corp walletsThe ISK in corporation wallets, when one of your characters is a Director, Accountant or Junior Accountant there. Otherwise it shows no wallet role.
Open ordersWhat your sell orders are listed for, plus the ISK held for your buy orders.
Income · 30dWhat you earned in the last 30 days, and the activity that earned the most. See Income by activity below.
P/L · 24h, 7d, 30dProfit and loss: everything earned minus everything spent in that time, from your wallet journals, with transfers between your own wallets left out. The percentage compares it with your wallets at the start of that time.

The Synced label next to the title shows when VoidForge last got new data for these characters.

Total ISK over time

The chart shows your wallets' balance at the end of each day. Use Total, Corp wallets and Personal to choose what it shows, and Area or Bars for its style. Select Table to see the numbers.

The range (This Week, 1W, 1M, 3M, 6M, YTD, All) is shared with the other pages that have one, so changing it here changes it there too. On the Overview it only changes the chart: income always covers 30 days, and P/L its own 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days. Over long ranges, bars show one bar per week.

Income by activity

This table splits the last 30 days of earnings by activity, for each wallet: Market, Mining, Planetary, Missions, Ratting & PvE, Industry, Rewards and Other. Under the table, VoidForge lists what Other is made of, such as exploration, hauling or skill farming.

  • Each activity counts what it earned minus what it cost. For example, Market is your sales minus your purchases, fees and taxes. An activity that cost more than it earned is left out rather than taking away from the others.
  • Selling something you made counts toward the activity that made it. Selling ore you mined counts as Mining, planetary goods from your colonies as Planetary, and skill injectors as skill farming, whichever character or corporation sells it.
  • ISK moved between your own characters, or between them and corporations where you hold a wallet role, isn't income. It's left out everywhere.
  • Mining (est.), shown hatched, is what the ore you mined is worth at your price source. It isn't added to the total, because the ISK only arrives when you sell the ore.

vs prior 30d compares with the 30 days before, and shows new when there was almost nothing to compare with.

Portfolio

Portfolio adds up everything you own: corporation wallets, personal wallets, assets, sell orders and the ISK held for buy orders. Assets are valued at the price source you chose in Settings › Prices. See Assets.

Why income differs from your wallet balance

  • Moving ISK between your own wallets changes their balances, but it isn't income or profit.
  • Income leaves out activities that lost money, while P/L includes every expense.
  • Ore you haven't sold, assets and open orders aren't in your wallets yet.
  • When you view one character, ISK it got from your other characters raises its balance without counting as income.

Needs attention, on the right, lists things waiting on you. See Needs attention.
