Planetary

Updated

Planetary shows every colony your characters run, when each extractor stops, what your colonies make, and what you've earned selling it.

The figures at the top of Planetary.

Colonies and extractors

Colonies are read every 10 minutes for characters that allow VoidForge to read their planets. A colony's layout is read again whenever the game updates it; extractor timers count down live.

StateMeans
StoppedThe colony's extractor has run out
Expires < 24hAn extractor stops within 24 hours
RunningEvery extractor has more than 24 hours left
No extractorThe colony has no extractor
  • Colonies shows colonies in use out of the slots your characters have: one plus their Interplanetary Consolidation level.
  • Storage ≥ 90% counts colonies whose fullest storage facility, launchpad or command center is at least 90% full.
  • Customs tax is the import and export tax in your characters' wallet journals.

Estimated output

Est. output · day is what your colonies make in a day at their current layouts, at the hub's sell price: factory products, and extracted materials not used by a factory on the same planet. Stopped extractors make nothing.

EVE keeps no history of planetary output, so VoidForge records each colony's output every day from when it starts collecting. The output chart fills in a day at a time from that first reading.

PI sales

PI sales counts market sales of things your account's colonies make, by any of your characters, in personal or corporation wallets. They count as Planetary income everywhere, the Overview included. A hauler without colonies who sells your PI counts too, marked sells for the account.

A sale counts for the character who made it, so viewing one producing character shows their colonies but not a hauler's sales. Sales by contract don't say what was sold, so they stay as market income.

Skyhooks

EVE doesn't tell VoidForge which skyhooks your corporations run, so the Our corporations run skyhooks switch does. When it's on, reagents your characters sell (Magmatic Gas, Superionic Ice) count here as Planetary income. When it's off, they count as skyhook raids on PvP. Reagents you bought stay as market trading either way.

Extractor alerts

Turn on Extractor alerts in Settings › Notifications, and choose in Warn how long before an extractor stops to be told (1 to 24 hours; 2 hours to start with). You're also told when one has stopped. Stopped and expiring extractors also show in Needs attention.
