You decide what your corporation sees.
Your corporation can ask you to share, but nothing leaves your account until you say yes. You pick the categories, see who looked, and stop whenever you like. Your own history always stays with you.
How VoidForge treats what you share
Only with your yes
Linking a character shares nothing. Each category is a separate switch, per corporation, and a corporation can't turn one on for you.
Nothing behind your back
Every time a leader opens your page or exports a list you're on, it shows up in your Who looked log.
Gone when you go
Stop sharing or leave the corporation and its access ends. Your history stays on your account.
What each category shares
Each category is a switch you turn on for each corporation, and leaders only see the ones you turn on.
| Category | Leaders see | Leaders don't see |
|---|---|---|
| Skills | Skill points, trained skills, the queue, and which of the corporation's hulls you can fly | — |
| Assets | Ships and items, where they are, and what they're worth | — |
| Activities | Mining, ratting, PvP, planetary and industry: what you did and what it earned, by day | Your wallet balance, unless you share wallet totals |
| Wallet totals | Balance and income by activity | Individual entries, who you paid and who paid you |
| Wallet entries | Every journal entry and market trade | — |
| Location and ship | Where you are now and what you're flying | Where you've been |
| Alts by name | The names of the other characters on your account and their corporations | Anything else about them, unless you share them like your main |
What leaders see, as VoidForge shows it
This is a member who shares skills, assets, ratting and wallet totals. Sample data.
Never shared, because VoidForge never reads it
VoidForge never reads EVE mail, chat channels, contacts or standings, and never sees your EVE password. Your email address and VoidForge sign-in are never shown to anyone.
Stay in control of your shared data
Here's what happens to your sharing when something changes in the game.
You see what it asks for when you link the character, and choose. Saying no lists you as not sharing; nothing else happens on VoidForge.
You're notified, and new categories stay off until you turn them on.
You're told. The alliance gets your corporation's totals and never anything about you.
Access ends at once. The corporation's own records, like its wallet journal, aren't yours to take back.
Its access ends within the hour, when VoidForge sees the change in EVE. Your history stays on your account.
That corporation's recruiters see what you choose for 14 days at most. Your current corporation isn't told.
Built so a leaked password can't cost you ISK
Two-factor sign-in for everyone
Every account, leader or member, needs a second factor to sign in.
EVE's own sign-in
You sign in to EVE on CCP's page. VoidForge never sees your EVE password.
Read-only access
VoidForge can't trade, send ISK, move items or post anything in game.
Revoke any time
Remove a character in VoidForge, or revoke VoidForge on EVE's own site, and access stops.
What members ask first
Will I get kicked if I don't share?
That's between you and your corporation. VoidForge only lists you as not sharing; it never removes anyone.
Can my corporation see my alts?
Only if you disclose them. Your corporation sees their names, and sees more only if you share them like your main.
Can my CEO read my EVE mail?
No. VoidForge doesn't read EVE mail at all.
Do I lose my data if I leave?
No. Your history stays on your account; only the corporation's access ends.
Can I use VoidForge without sharing anything?
Yes. Sharing is optional, and everything for your own characters works without it.
