Orders and Sales Insights
Trading & Orders has two pages: Active Orders, your open buy and sell orders and whether they're still the best price, and Sales Insights, how your sales are doing.
Active Orders
- Sell orders value is the price times what's left on each sell order. Buy escrow is the ISK held for your buy orders.
- Order slots used compares open orders with what your characters' Trade, Retail, Wholesale and Tycoon skills allow.
In Orders, show All, Sell or Buy, pick a Hub, or search by item, station or character. Undercut first puts orders that need attention at the top. The history button on each row shows how its price changed. If you have Saved Builds, vs build compares the sell price with the build's production cost.
Corporation orders show in their own panel when one of your characters is a Director, Accountant or Trader and allows VoidForge to read corporation market orders.
Undercut checks
Every 5 minutes, VoidForge checks each of your characters' orders against the other orders for that item anywhere in the same region:
| Status | Means |
|---|---|
| Lowest / Highest | Your order is the best price |
| Undercut / Outbid | Someone else's order has a better price than your best one. With Price Undercut on in Settings › Notifications, you're told when this happens. |
| Your own order is ahead | One of your characters has a better order for the same item, so this one isn't competing with anyone else |
| Not checked yet | VoidForge hasn't checked this order yet |
Orders from all of your characters count as yours, so they never undercut each other. Corporation orders aren't checked. Undercut orders also show in Needs attention.
Sales Insights
- Total revenue is what your sales brought in; Total fees is broker fees and sales tax from your wallet journals; Net revenue is revenue after fees.
- Avg daily is revenue divided by the days you sold something. ISK / hour and Items / hour spread your sales over the whole range.
- Period comparison compares the range with the one before it.
- Top sellers lists your 10 best-selling items; search to find any item you've sold.
- Time-of-day analysis shows when you sell, in your time zone, next to EVE's usual busy hours.
Days are counted in the time zone you chose in Settings › Date & time. Market transactions are read every hour; Sync Transactions reads them now for every character you're viewing. With All, per-hour figures run from your first sale.
Profit margins
Profit margin analysis compares what you sold items for with their production cost, as worked out by Market Analysis: each time you calculate there, and every 6 hours for your Saved Builds. The margin is the markup on cost: (average sale price − production cost) ÷ production cost. Only items with a production cost and sales show here. See Market Analysis.
