VoidForge is invite-only. You can sign up once your email address has been approved, with an invite code, or with an invite link from a leader of your corporation or alliance.

Ways to get an account

  • An invite from a leader. Corporation CEOs, Directors and Personnel Managers, and alliance leaders, can send you an invite link. Open it and follow the steps on the page.
  • An invite code. Codes look like VF-XXXX-XXXX. A link with a code fills it in for you.
  • Ask for access. On the sign-up page, select Request access, enter your email address, and select Send request. Once you're approved, you get an email with a link to create your account. Asking again with the same email only updates your request.

Sign up

  1. Go to Create account.
  2. Enter your email address and a password of at least 8 characters, then enter the password again.
  3. If your email hasn't been approved, enter your Invite code.
  4. Select Create account.

If Sign up with Google is shown, you can use your Google account instead of a password. If your Google address isn't approved yet, VoidForge asks for an invite code to finish.

If you joined with a leader's invite link, you first select Sign in with EVE so VoidForge can check that your character is in that corporation or alliance. That character is added to your account for you.

Set up two-factor sign-in

Every VoidForge account uses two-factor sign-in, so your data and anything your corporation shares stay yours. You set it up right after creating your account, before you can add characters.

  1. Add VoidForge to an authenticator app on your phone by scanning the code on the screen.
  2. Enter the 6-digit code from the app and select Confirm and turn on.
  3. Save your 10 recovery codes somewhere safe, then select I've saved my codes.

VoidForge asks for a code each time you sign in. To skip it on a browser you trust, tick Don't ask again on this browser for 30 days.

If you lose your phone, sign in with one of your recovery codes instead of a code from the app. Each recovery code works once. If you've lost those too, ask a VoidForge admin to reset your two-factor sign-in.

If you forget your password

On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?, enter your email address and select Send reset link. The link in the email works for 1 hour. After 5 wrong passwords in a row, signing in is paused for 15 minutes.
